Our Faculty Commitment
Our faculty members are committed to student success. We have a low student-to-faculty ratio, which means you will receive the attention you need. We also stress real-world settings for students to learn the necessary skills, including opportunities for international trips to deliver physical therapy services around the globe. Our faculty members stay current with the latest professional standards and evidence through research and professional memberships. They serve as real-world consultants and practitioners and have built relationships with health care providers around the region.
Our department calls the state-of-the-art Science Health Research Laboratory in the Sanford Coyote Sports Complex home. The $10 million facility, completed in 2017, has the latest technology and equipment in its classrooms, laboratories and simulated clinic. The design of the building offers many collaborative efforts, including research and interprofessional education, as well as high-fidelity learning.
