Law Honors Scholars
The law honors scholars program allows high school seniors to be guaranteed admission to the USD Knudson School of Law if they apply for and participate in the honors program while pursuing their undergraduate degree at USD. If you're a high school student already planning on going to law school, the program can offer you a jump-start on your future career.
Qualified students must:
- Be a graduating high school senior
- Have excellent grades when applying
- Have an ACT score of at least 27
- Have integrity, compassion, fairness and a capacity for leadership
How to Apply
- Submit the common scholarship application no later than Dec. 1 of the year you plan to enroll
- Submit high school transcripts and ACT score by Dec. 1
Program Requirements
- Get your undergraduate degree at USD while participating in the honors program
- Graduate in four years, no later than the May commencement ceremony
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.5
- Participation in an honors seminar taught by a USD Knudson School of Law faculty member is highly encouraged
- Take the LSAT for statistical purposes (your score will not be counted toward admission)
