We are proud to offer online modules that cover academic and career development. Each module is designed to address the current needs of Sanford School of Medicine faculty and are usually 10 minutes long.
USD's Women in Medicine and Science (WIMS) advances the full and successful participation and inclusion of women within academic medicine by addressing gender equity, recruitment and retention, awards and recognition and career advancement. WIMS offers live and archived events open to all faculty.
To help faculty advance in their teaching, the faculty development committee has funds available for faculty travel. Any faculty wishing to use these funds must complete the following application process. The grant will cover up to 50 percent of the total requested to a maximum of $1,500.
