First preference is for third or fourth-year students from the Rapid City and West River region with an expressed interest in pursuing an internal medicine career in general and gastroenterology in particular.
Preference is given to female South Dakota native students in their third or fourth year of medical school. Recipients should have an interest in internal medicine.
Preference shall be given to a student who is planning a career in family medicine or general internal medicine. Recipients will be selected based on academic excellence in their medical studies. The award shall be given to a student for one year only.
First preference is for fourth-year students from the Rapid City and the West River region with an expressed interest in pursuing an internal medicine career. Secondary preference is for fourth-year students who are enrolled on the Rapid City campus of the Sanford School of Medicine with an expressed interest in pursuing a career in internal medicine.
Fourth-year medical students in good standing with an expressed interest in pursuing a career in internal medicine are eligible for this scholarship.
