'Live the Tradition' is theme for USD's 100th Dakota Days

VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University of South Dakota is readying for its 100th Dakota Days celebration, Oct. 5 through Oct. 11.

With the theme, “Live the Tradition,” the 100th Dakota Days Executive Team is honoring traditions of past Dakota Days as well as encouraging students to get excited about USD’s future. Event Directors Cassondra Keller of Box Elder, S.D., and Erika Arpan of Wagner, S.D., have planned an exciting week of events along with USD’s Campus Activities Board.

“With this year being the 100th annual Dakota Days the executive board is planning to make the celebration one of the biggest and best Dakota Days that the University has ever seen,” stated Rachel Green, marketing director, Dakota Days Executive Team.
