VERMILLION, S.D. -- The Beacom School of Business ranks among the top 30 in a global ranking of distance online programs by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), which ranked the University of South Dakota's online MBA program 28th on its 2016 ranking at www.topmba.com. The education analysts at QS provide learners with detailed information to assist in their educational decisions and chose USD among its largest list of online MBA rankings in its history.
Beacom School of Business achieved the MBA ranking through various factors, including high scores in class experience and student quality. These factors are made up of a number of measures, such as Beacom students’ average years of work experience, GMAT scores and participation in collaborative group work in courses. The ranking also included measures that note the quality of online faculty, faculty/student ratios and Beacom School of Business’ Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Accreditation.
