VERMILLION, S.D. – The DakotaDome and new Sanford Coyote Sports Center welcome an expanded Dakota Farm Show this week.

Educational seminars have been added, hosted in conjunction with the South Dakota State University Southeast Research Center with presenters from Iowa State University, the University of Minnesota and USDA.

The seminars are scheduled in the new Dome Club, a hospitality space in the attached arena building that offers large windows to view the football field in the Dome. Coyote basketball and volleyball games are now played in the new Sanford Coyote Sports Center, easing the scheduling challenge for the DakotaDome.

With the extra room, seminars are now being hosted in the new Dome Club. We don't have to worry about basketball so it's really helped this year a lot," said Penny Swank, show manager.

The 34th annual farm trade show hosts almost 300 exhibitors and over 600 booths specializing in agricultural products and services. Organizers expect over 25,000 South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska farmers and ranchers to attend. The Dakota Farm Show and seminars are free and open to the public.
