USD Basketball to Compete at Summit League Championships

VERMILLION, S.D. – The University of South Dakota men and women’s basketball teams will play in the Summit League championships March 4-7 at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

In the first matchup, the no. 1 ranked USD men’s team will play Western Illinois Saturday, March 4, at 6 p.m. An alumni reception will occur in the Sioux Falls Convention Center Rooms 8, 9 and 10 at 4-6 p.m. A post-game reception will be held immediately after the game for approximately one hour.

The no. 4 ranked women’s team will play Omaha Sunday, March 5, at noon. An alumni reception will occur in the Sioux Falls Convention Center Rooms 8, 9 and 10 at 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. A post-game reception will occur immediately after the game for approximately one hour.
