USD Hosts Career Fairs for Students and Alumni

VERMILLION, S.D. – The University of South Dakota Academic and Career Planning Center will host three career fairs over the course of three days giving students and alumni the chance to connect with area employers in multiple different fields.

“These career fairs are a perfect opportunity for students and alumni to meet with recruiters from various industries to learn about the companies and their full-time and part-time employment opportunities, internships, and volunteer opportunities. Students of all majors and class years are welcome at each of the fairs,” said Heather Johnson, assistant director at the Academic and Career Planning Center.

Hosted Oct 24-26, each session, ranging from business, communications, healthcare, human services, government, science and technology, will occur 11 a.m - 2 p.m. on the first floor of the Muenster University Center.

The career fairs are open to USD students and alumni. Company representatives will be available to answer questions. Full details on each session:

Business and Communications Career Fair
Tuesday, Oct. 24 - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
MUC 1st Floor

Healthcare, Human Services, and Government Career Fair
Wednesday, Oct 25 - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
MUC 1st Floor

Science and Technology Career Fair
Thursday, Oct 26 - 11 a.m. - 2p.m.
