VERMILLION, S.D. – The University of South Dakota will host the 2017 Missouri River Institute Research Symposium on Wednesday, March 29, in the Al Neuharth Media Center Freedom Forum Conference Room.
Beginning at 9 a.m., the annual Missouri River Institute Research Symposium will feature a number of speakers from USD and state and federal agencies including the National Park Service, Nebraska Game and Parks Department, U.S. Geological Survey and others describing research and educational activities focused on issues related to the Missouri River and its basin.
Topics of presentations will include river function and management, riparian forests and fish and wildlife associated with the river.
