VERMILLION, S.D. – The University of South Dakota will welcome over 400 prospective students from 14 states for its Fall Open House this Saturday, November 18. This surpasses the previous largest Fall Open House which recorded just over 300 prospective students.

“We’re excited to welcome so many students interested in learning more about what USD has to offer,” said Mark Petty, USD's Dean of Enrollment. “With world-class research facilities, nationally ranked academic programs and new modern facilities, we hope everyone enjoys their visit and makes plans to come back again soon."

During the Fall Open House, students will have the opportunity to tour campus, visit with faculty and listen to presentations on different academic majors, student organizations and the financial aid process. 200 ticket vouchers to the USD vs. SDSU football game will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the MUC at noon.
