USD Charlie Charlie's Bookstore & Fan Shop will host a Graduation Fair to help students prepare for the commencement ceremony, shop graduation gear and celebration essentials, and learn more about life after graduating.

VERMILLION, S.D. – Charlie’s Bookstore & Fan Shop on the campus of the University of South Dakota is set to host a Graduation Fair on March 23 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and March 24 from 1-5 p.m. to prepare students for the commencement ceremony and life after graduating.

Students who will receive their degrees in May 2021 will have the opportunity to order their graduation cap and gown, shop celebration essentials, ask questions regarding the ceremony and much more.

Representatives from USD's Office of the Registrar, Graduate School, Alumni Association, Career Services, Military Services and the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment will be available to assist students.

“Involving multiple departments and offices at the Graduation Fair helps bring attention to what is going on and helps graduates check items of their list,” said Brittany Sage, manager of university retail operations. “This is an exciting time for our graduates, and we want them to feel prepared and avoid any stress.”

USD will host commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 8 in the DakotaDome. The undergraduate ceremony will be held at 9 a.m., and the graduate/professional ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. The ceremonies will be livestreamed on the USD Facebook page.
