Sorority Chapters & Recruitment

Make lifelong friends and memories in a sorority.

Sorority Chapters

You'll have the opportunity to choose between four sororities on campus. Sororities at USD provide a formal membership recruitment week, which is your official introduction to the Greek community. Although each chapter is different, all chapters focus on:

  • Academic excellence
  • Leadership development
  • Commitment to campus
  • Community involvement

Each sorority is governed by the rules provided by the Panhellenic Council.

Fall 2024 sorority recruitment is from September 5th - 8th.

Success story Taylor Anderson smiling in front of the Warren M Lee center for the Fine Arts.
Some of my favorite non-academic highlights from my undergraduate time at USD include Dakotathon and taking on the role of morale captain my sophomore year, National Student Exchange and studying away in the Virgin Islands during my junior year, and being a member of greek life and my sorority, Pi Beta Phi, throughout all four years. These extracurricular opportunities heightened my overall experience at USD and ultimately made me a better student and professional by requiring me to step out of my comfort zone and interact with others in new ways.
