USD Wellness Center


The program is designed to help participants lose weight, improve exercise and nutritional habits, make lifestyle changes and have fun. Participants will engage in group and individual workouts and participate in daily food and activity logs all under the direct supervision and guidance of Certified Personal Trainers.

This 10 week program includes: weekly weigh-ins, pre/post fitness assessment to include pictures (optional), girth measurements, body percent fat testing and muscular and cardiovascular fitness testing. Participants will also be grouped into teams to facilitate a team competition. You can receive points for attending group workouts, attending group fitness classes, wellness workshops on topics such as nutrition and exercise and activity and food logs.

The Contest

  • Individuals with the highest percentage of weight loss from their official testing will be declared the Biggest Loser Champion.
  • There will be a male and female winner.
  • The team with the highest percentage of total weight loss will be named the Team Champion.
  • All participants who complete the entire 10 week program and complete all program requirements will receive a $10 coupon for any personal training or specialty program. 
  • Participants must have a USD Wellness Center Membership in order to participate in the program.

  • Cost: $45.00 (plus tax)
  • Participants will receive a team t-shirt at the start of the program
