Alluring Appeal of the Macabre exhibition on display at The U
The exhibition will present a variety of work done by each student including photos, sculptures, paintings and drawings. A fascination with the alluring appeal of death overshadows many of the pieces and unites the show. Death is depicted as both ugly and beautiful.
A reception for the artists is scheduled for April 24 at 7 p.m. The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday night during the reception from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. For more information about the exhibit, contact Cory Knedler, Chair of the Art Department at (605) 677-5637 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
