Beacom School of Business at The U names Outstanding Senior
Weinandt, a senior from Dakota Dunes, S.D., is a 2009 graduate of the Beacom School of Business where she received a B.B.A. in management and a B.A. in economics. She is presently working on her M.B.A. at The U. During her undergraduate studies, Weinandt was instrumental in revitalizing USD’s Beta Chapter Omicron Delta Epsilon – an international honor society in economics. She was also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in collegiate business and management programs accredited by AACSB International. Additionally, she has presented at The U’s annual IdeaFest and Graduate Research Forum; was president of the Political Economy Club at USD; and was a member of the campus’ Carbon Task Force.
