Beacom School of Business Delta Sigma Pi Chapter Receives Record Number of Awards at Conference
The USD Alpha Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was recently presented with the National Outstanding Financial Operations award, which is awarded to the chapter that plans and implements the most effective and comprehensive program of fundraising and financial management. This award is presented to only one chapter in the nation each year. The Alpha Eta Chapter has had tremendous success with fundraising by partnering with USD to manage all merchandise sales for the Charlie’s tailgate trailer and inside the Dakota Dome, as well as working with Aramark to staff concessions for USD sporting events.
“Alpha Eta was presented with ten fraternity awards this year, which stands as the most chapter awards in a single year in our chapter’s 95-year history,” said Professor Dan Tracy, chapter advisor for Delta Sigma Pi. “I am so proud of our Delta Sigma Pi members for receiving this honor for their unparalleled achievements while bringing recognition and prominence to the Beacom School of Business and the University of South Dakota on an international stage.”
In total the Alpha Eta Chapter was recognized with 10 awards, which included:
