DakotaDome to host annual Quad State Marching Competition
Two dozen marching bands from South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota will compete in four different classes – 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A – beginning at 9 a.m. Awards in classes 1A and 2A will be announced at 12:30 p.m. followed by performances from 3A and 4A classes. Awards in classes 3A and 4A will be announced at 4:45 p.m.
In addition to the 24 high school bands competing on Saturday, the USD Marching Coyotes will have two scheduled performances at 12:30 and 4:30 p.m.
Cost for admission is $8. The event is also available via webcast at sdpb.org.
