Dawn Plitzuweit Welcomed as New Womens Basketball Coach
Plitzuweit has compiled a 188-93 record for a winning percentage of .669 in nine years as a head coach, most recently at Northern Kentucky. She’s also been an assistant or head coach at Michigan, Grand Valley State, Green Bay, Wisconsin and her alma mater, Michigan Tech. USD hired Plitzuweit to fill the position left vacant when Amy Williams went to Nebraska three weeks ago after leading the Coyotes to the WNIT championship in front of a sold-out crowd at the DakotaDome.
