Ballard grew up outside of Sioux Falls, S.D. He received his B.A. in painting in 2011 from the University of Sioux Falls. His work includes large scale figure paintings combined with abstract diagrams and a video installation.

Verschoor is from Brookings, S.D. where she is the director of the South Dakota Art Museum. Over the last 25 years she has been engaged in the museum industry and creating and exhibiting her artwork. This exhibition showcases her interest in the science of art and art of science as portrayed through botanical sculptures created from mixed media.

Kaloper relocated from the Los Angeles, Calif. area to study at USD. His work aims to raise questions about perceptions, evaluations and contemporary American apathy. His M.F.A. thesis exhibition, "Crayon Drawings," is an examination of artistic commitment and cultivation.
