Education Professor Elected to Board of American Association for Adult and Continuing Education
The mission of the AAACE includes “…fostering the development and dissemination of theory, research, information, and best practices; promoting identity and standards for the profession; and advocating relevant public policy and social change initiatives.”
The CIAE is one of nine commissions that govern the AAACE. The CIAE “provides a forum for the discussion of international issues related to adult education in general, as well as adult education in various countries around the globe.” The work of the commission includes encouraging “exchanges between AAACE and associations from other countries,” and developing “linkages with adult education associations in other countries.”
Avoseh will serve as the editor of the CIAE Proceedings through November 2019.
