Fall Choral Showcase showcases choral programs at The U
The first performance of the new academic year for the USD choral programs, which is free and open to the public, is Sunday, Nov. 2 at 3 p.m. in the Vermillion High School Auditorium. Under the direction of David Holdhusen, Ph.D., director of choral activities and assistant professor of music at The U, USD’s Men’s and Women’s Chorus, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers are scheduled to perform several arrangements, including “Shenandoah,” “In Remembrance,” “Salvation is Created,” “O Day Full of Grace,” and selections from Mendelssohn’s “Elijah.”
In addition to the Fall Choral Showcase, the Department of Music at USD announced that the Music Department Holiday Concert, which involves all the performance ensembles at The U, is Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
