Finn wins AUTM Howard Bremer Scholarship
“Technology transfer is the process of transferring intellectual property or ideas from labs to the world so that they can benefit the greater populace,” said Finn.
The award includes an honorarium, registration and travel stipend to the AUTM Annual Meeting in Hollywood, Florida.
Finn touted the experience at the national conference. “I was able to interact with people from other technology transfer offices all over the world, and I left the conference with more great ideas than I have time to implement,” said Finn.
Launched in 2002, the Howard Bremer Scholarship is an annual scholarship program supporting students and professionals new to the field and pursuing a career in technology transfer. The scholarship is awarded to those who—like Bremer— wish to bring creativity and innovation to the academic technology transfer profession. The scholarship’s goal is to foster educational opportunities for individuals who are committed to the vision of technology transfer.
