Gebhart, from Elkton, S.D., is a fine arts major with an emphasis in graphic design. Her show is based on a social awareness campaign called "To Write Love On Her Arms." Gebhart, who hopes to find a job in the graphic design industry, uses a one word campaign and a line of products to give support and hope to her audience.

Presenting her Honors thesis project in conjunction with her senior show is Hoff, a fine arts major with an emphasis in graphic design. Her work is a study of family history centering on her paternal grandfather's ancestors. A native of Norfolk, Neb., Hoff plans to pursue a career in graphic design following graduation.

Mulder of Freeman, S.D., is an art major with an emphasis in photography and a minor in English. Her artwork is based on the passion of her travels that have influenced who she is today. Also included in her art are the influences of her family and friends.

Saunders, from Omaha, Neb., will graduate with a bachelor's degree in fine arts with an emphasis in graphic design. Her senior show’s concept is about being caught between a child and an adult and resistance to growing up. Each artwork is a vector image of a child crying in a nostalgic environment and contains objects that both child and adult would use.

St. Pierre of Yankton, S.D., is a fine arts major with an emphasis in photography. The subject of her exhibition is a collection of digital images about fairytale or folk characters in a variety of scenes that give off a dark mood.

The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday through Sunday from 1 - 5 p.m. A reception for the artists is scheduled May 1 from 7 - 9 p.m. For more information about the exhibit, please contact Cory Knedler, chair of the department of art, at (605) 677-5637 or cknedler@usd.edu.
