Lucas Molitor to Provide Accreditation Oversight on National Council
Whitney Lucas Molitor, PhD, OTD, OTR/L, BCG, assistant professor, capstone director and chair of admissions in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the University of South Dakota, has been appointed to the national Roster of Accreditation Evaluators for the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
Lucas Molitor will be a part of a team that conducts on-site evaluations for new and existing OT programs across the country to determine the accreditation status of their program. She will ensure these programs stay up-to-date with accreditation and standards.
Lucas Molitor’s term as part of the national accreditation team begins Jan. 24, 2021 and extends to June 2024. She has been a faculty member at USD since 2015. Lucas Molitor earned her MS, OTD and PhD degrees from USD.
