The USD School of Law is listed among “The Best 169 Law Schools” and receives praise for having an excellent relationship with the state bar association, the Circuit Court and the State Supreme Court; a “most excellent” faculty; a strong alumni base and the School of Law’s affordability.

“This is great recognition for the School of Law as we strive to provide students with a quality legal education with great value,” said Tom Geu, dean of the USD School of Law. “This honor is a tribute to our faculty and their commitment to preparing our students for a successful career in law.”

The Princeton Review does not rank each law school hierarchically. The publication tallied its lists based on surveys of 18,500 students attending the 169 law schools. The 80-question survey asked students to rate multiple attributes of their experiences at law school, including quality of their professors and the academic proficiency of fellow classmates. Some rankings factored in school-reported data.
