Research symposium at USD set to address Missouri River science issues
Beginning at 9 a.m. in the Freedom Forum Conference Room of the Al Neuharth Media Center, researchers from USD and other academic institutions as well as federal, state and local organizations will share their discoveries, and discuss the science and other issues of the Missouri River. Presentations will highlight new research by faculty and students from the University of South Dakota and Virginia Tech University.
Other organizations presenting at the symposium include the National Park Service, USGS EROS Center and Vermillion Public Schools. All presentations are free and open to the public.
