Research Symposium at USD to Address Missouri River Science and Other Issues
Beginning at 9 a.m. in the Freedom Forum Conference Room of the Al Neuharth Media Center, researchers from USD and other academic institutions as well as federal, state and local organizations will share their discoveries, discuss science and education projects, and examine other issues related to the Missouri River and its management. Presentations will highlight new research by faculty and students from USD and other academic and government institutions.
Other organizations with representatives presenting at the symposium include South Dakota State University, the South Dakota Geological Survey, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission, the National Park Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. All presentations are free and open to the public.
