South Dakotas Small Business Development Center Announces New Regional Director in Pierre
In this role, Weyrich will provide SBDC consulting assistance to startup entrepreneurs and existing business owners. In addition, he will provide government contracting consultations as part of his Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) role.
The Pierre SBDC/PTAC Center, located at 221 S. Central Avenue, covers a 14-county region in west-central South Dakota. Weyrich joins the SBDC with a rich history of work both in the private sector as well as having served as a development representative with the South Dakota Department of Agriculture.
The SBDC and PTAC programs provide free and confidential consulting to entrepreneurs as an outreach program of the University of South Dakota’s Beacom School of Business. Services are available in thanks to the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Defense Logistics Agency and South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
