Students surveyed for “The Best 378 Colleges: 2014 Edition” praise USD for its wide selection of career placement services and described the Honors Program as “the best-kept secret in the country.” Students also commented that USD “gives students many options as far as majors go” and that “the odds of getting into a professional or graduate program are good.” USD is the lone South Dakota college or university featured in “The Best 378 Colleges: 2014 Edition,” which was released today. This also is the 15th consecutive year that USD is featured in the education services company’s college guidebook.

Only 15 percent of America’s 2,500 four-year colleges and four colleges outside the United States are profiled in this year’s guide, which does not rank colleges academically or numerically from 1 to 378 in any category. The lists are entirely based on The Princeton Review’s survey of 126,000 students attending the colleges and not on The Princeton Review’s opinion of the schools.
