The Volante will host free Election Night Watch Party Nov 4
With the university not having a Student Center, The Volante would like to offer a place for students to gather with friends and fellow students to watch the election coverage in high definition on the evening of Nov. 4.
"Election night is a fun evening, especially for meeting with friends and seeing how the voting turns out," Michelle Rydell, The Volante Editor-in-Chief, said. "In years past, students could gather at the CSC and watch the news on big screens there, but that’s not the case right now. And with this being such a big election, it made sense for us to try and fill a void." The Volante will provide free food and refreshments.
There will be three screens to watch the election coverage. Two screens will be large high definition flat panel televisions provided by Dakota PC Warehouse.
