University Art Galleries at USD present In Limine
VERMILLION, S.D. -- The University Art Galleries at The University of South Dakota presents an installation by artist Megan Dirks. Dirks, an Akron, Iowa native pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in studio painting, created this exhibition of paintings in conjunction with an installation at the Washington Street Arts Center entitled, “In Limine.”
Her exhibit, which is located in Gallery 110 of the Warren M. Lee Center for Fine Arts, is scheduled to run from Nov. 10 through Nov. 14 and is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. "In Limine" explores the richness of possibilities that Intermedia and Installation Art provide. The installation speculates the temporality and mutability of space. The exhibit will conclude with a reception for the artist at 8 p.m. at the Warren M. Lee Center for Fine Arts and the Washington Street Arts Center.
