University Art Galleries to honor Corroborations 2012 artists with reception
“Corroborations 2012” artists will read poetry and discuss the process of creating work for the exhibit. All exhibits are currently on display until May 4.
The exhibition paired USD visual arts and poetry majors to create new collaborative work broadening acceptance and appreciation of alternative art disciplines. All work created for the exhibition is new and original, and includes South Dakota tapestry artist Grete Bodøgaard; “Getting Graphic,” an exhibit of graphic novels by librarian Abby Moore; and “SkateCreate,” a student exhibit featured on the west side of the second floor.
This reception and all of the exhibits are free and open to the public.
