University Libraries hosting reception for two exhibits this week
VERMILLION, S.D. -- University Libraries at the University of South Dakota will host a reception for two exhibits currently on display in the I.D. Weeks library building at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 17. “Corroborations 2014” pairs USD visual arts and poetry majors in order to create new collaborative work and to both broaden acceptance and appreciation. “Rivers, Wings and Sky” features local artist Nancy Losacker’s mosaics and English department emeritus Norma Wilson’s poems
Poetry for both exhibits will be read at the reception, located on the second floor of the I.D. Weeks library building, top of the stairs near the glass exhibition cases. The exhibits and reception are free and open to the public.
