“We are so proud that the Beacom School of Business has achieved this prestigious distinction three years in a row and it places us in the company of the top business schools around the world.” stated Venky Venkatachalam, dean of the Beacom School of Business.

Venkatachalam continued, “Our high quality faculty, rich history of e-learning, and program innovations allow us to meet the needs of working professionals around the globe. Consistent high rankings over three years and being listed along with top business schools in the nation demonstrate the high value proposition our MBA programs offer – highest quality of learning at an affordable cost.”

The list is The Princeton Review’s 3rd annual ranking of online MBA programs and is based on both surveys of administrators at the schools and of students enrolled in the schools' online MBA programs. The Beacom School of Business has appeared in the top 25 rankings for all three years.

The Princeton Review chose the schools for the list based on its surveys in 2016-2017 of more than 75 institutions offering online MBAs and of about 4,300 students enrolled in the online MBAs programs. Data points were weighted in more than 60 unique fields to tally the final list. Criteria focused on five areas: academics, selectivity, faculty, technical platforms, and career outcomes.

"We strongly recommend the Beacom School of Business at the University of South Dakota as an outstanding choice for anyone considering an online MBA," said Robert Franek, Princeton Review Editor-in-Chief. "Its program is exceptionally strong both academically and in the many ways it maximizes technology that enables students to interact with and learn from its superlative faculty and students all over the world."
