From Feb. 15 to March 9, USD and SDSU bookstores will compete to sell the most items and fill Summit League Tournament seats on a virtual scoreboard. For every product sold by Charlie’s Bookstore & Fan Shop, a seat will be filled under Charlie. For every product sold by Jackrabbit Central, a seat will be filled under Jack.

“There is no doubt the Summit League Basketball Tournament is going to be different this year without fans, but that doesn’t need to slow our friendly rivalry with SDSU,” said Scott Pohlson, vice president of enrollment, marketing and university relations. “I encourage all Coyote fans to show their pride by purchasing as many items as they can during the competition at Charlie’s. Not only can we win the fan challenge, but we can also grow the student scholarship fund.”

All the latest Yote gear can be found at Charlie’s Downtown, on campus in the Muenster University Center or online at usdcharliestore.com. A percentage of every dollar spent at Charlie’s supports student scholarships.

“Charlie’s was excited to create this Summit League competition for our fans,” said Brittany Sage, manager of university retail operations. “It’s important to support our team no matter where we are watching and to continue supporting our student scholarships during this time.”

Competition results can be found at www.jackandcharlieschallenge.com.
