USD CMJ professor to serve on SDBA Board of Directors
VERMILLION, S.D. -- Michelle Van Maanen, Ed.D., an assistant professor in the Department of Contemporary Media & Journalism at The University of South Dakota, was appointed to the South Dakota Broadcasters Association (SDBA) Board of Directors at the association’s 60th annual state conference in Keystone, S.D. Van Maanen will serve on the SDBA Board of Directors as a representative of the associate members of the association.
"Members of the SDBA have strong records of supporting their local communities," said Van Maanen of Yankton, S.D. "It's an honor to join their board and work with the many dedicated broadcasters serving their audiences across the state."
The South Dakota Broadcasters Association is a trade association that represents South Dakota’s radio and television stations. It provides education, regulatory assistance, and legislative representation to its members.
