USD exhibition Washed Away at WH Over Museum
Grage is an art education major with a photography emphasis from Marcus, Iowa. Her work includes a variety of nature related imagery, especially close-up shots of plant life. She used traditional black and white photography along with hand-applied emulsions to portray her ideas. Grage’s future plans include finding a job teaching art and exploring timed exposures in nature.
Zdenek is a fine art major with an emphasis in photography from Sioux Falls, S.D. His works are also done using hand-painted emulsions. He also applies paint, colored pencils and writings. His works are visual experiments that tell a narrative about the struggles of man and nature. Zdenek’s plans include graduate school.
The exhibition is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about the exhibit, contact Cory Knedler, chair of the department of art, at (605) 677-5637 or [email protected].
