The day-long conference will feature undergraduate and graduate papers in local, United States, European and world history.

A part of USD's semester-long celebration of Yiddish arts and culture, Glenn Dynner, professor of religion at Sarah Lawrence College, will deliver the Student History Conference’s keynote address, “Jews, Liquor, and Life in Eastern Europe.”

Sponsored by the USD Department of History and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in history, the conference will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Muenster University Center. This event is free and open to the public.
