USD instructor inducted into Physical Therapy Hall of Fame
VERMILLION, S.D. — Richard Ekstrom, professor of physical therapy at the University of South Dakota, has been inducted into the South Dakota Physical Therapy Association’s Hall of Fame.
Ekstrom earned the honor because of his impressive, 40-year history of practicing, teaching, advocating and writing about physical therapy. He has been an instructor in USD’s program since 1997.
The South Dakota Physical Therapy Association established its Hall of Fame in 1992. Ekstrom is the 25th inductee.
