USD Knudson School of Law Hosts Diversity Panel Sept 28
“It is our responsibility as legal professionals to be the best advocates we can be for our clients,” said Josey Blare, a third-year law student and one of the panelists. “That begins by learning alongside diverse people and understanding their perspectives. I’m honored for the opportunity to discuss these issues with distinguished alumnae, faculty and other students.”
Members of the panel include Timothy Peterkin, professor and director of academic success and bar prep; Tamara Nash ’13, special assistant United States attorney; Kelly Maxwell ’18, judicial law clerk, U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota; and third-year law students Josey Blare and Emmanuel Tomenou.
