USD Law Simmons to Attend Hess Seminar
University of South Dakota School of Law professor Tom Simmons will attend the Jack and Anita Hess Seminar for Faculty hosted at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum this January.
“I am very honored to have been selected to participate in the seminar and spending a week at the U.S. Holocaust Museum with scholars and educators from across the country,” said Simmons. “I look forward to learning more about the fate of the Roma and Sinti during the Holocaust and adding to my toolkit of teaching skills.”
According to the USHMM, the seminar held annually during the first week of January, is designed for college and university faculty who are teaching or preparing to teach Holocaust or Holocaust-related courses.
