Cox, from Duluth, Minn., has studied painting at USD since 2007. His work focuses on the analysis of individual and multiple viewpoints through the construction of contemporary mythological figures using analysis, fragmentation and hybrids of imagery and media. After receiving his M.F.A., Cox plans to teach in a small collegiate environment.
