The IACP is one of the world’s largest and most respected law enforcement organizations, representing police leaders from across the globe. Its Police Investigative Operations Committee focuses on enhancing investigative standards, developing resources for agencies and addressing emerging challenges in criminal investigations.

Jackson’s appointment reflects his professional expertise and commitment to advancing high standards in law enforcement. In his role, he will collaborate with law enforcement leaders nationwide to promote best practices, strengthen investigative operations and support the continuous improvement of the profession.

In addition to this appointment, Jackson also serves on the IACP Policy Center Advisory Group, where he assists in reviewing and shaping model policies used by law enforcement agencies across the globe. These policies help guide agencies on topics such as investigations, accountability and operational procedures.
