USD School of Education Recognized by US News and World Report
The University of South Dakota School of Education earned recognition from U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 Best Graduate Schools of Education. USD moved up 33 spots from last year’s rankings, and is now in the top third of almost 400 schools of education nationwide.
“This ranking is contributed to the consistent hard work of the faculty and staff in the School of Education. We continue to build on our reputation as a strong research school and the state’s flagship university,” said Donald Easton-Brooks, dean of the School of Education.
The U.S. News rankings are based on several key measures of quality, including graduation and retention rates, assessment of excellence, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, graduation rate performance and alumni giving.
