USD Students Faculty and Staff Asked for Input on Recycling
VERMILLION, S.D. — The University of South Dakota has partnered with a sustainability consulting firm for a new recycling program and wants to gather ideas from people who study and work on the Vermillion campus.
The Verdis Group, of Omaha, Nebraska, is conducting an online survey over the next two weeks and seeking input from USD students, faculty and staff. It takes 10-15 minutes, is anonymous and participants can win one of five $20 Vermillion Bucks (three for students and two for faculty/staff). The survey site: http://yote.us/1KfINxb.
Some key components to the partnership, which started in December and will conclude with recommendations in early May: vendor assessment, benchmarking, waste audit, waste/recycling infrastructure and communication assessment, and a campus-wide survey.
