The five-day event featured lectures and presentations from USD faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the Beacom School of Business. Program attendees also had the opportunity to visit with representatives from local, regional and national employers, including Eide Baily, Daktronics and the South Dakota Investment Council.

Attendees stay in USD dorms during the event, and enjoy social programs as well as more formal learning sessions. Scholarships to the annual institute –including the 2019 event- are available by contacting the Beacom School of Business at USD. High school sophomores and juniors interested in accounting or business are eligible to attend.
