Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 and Saturday, Nov. 12, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13 beginning with the whodunit spoof, “The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage,” written by David Ives. “The Mystery at Twicknam Vicarage” incorporates fast-paced action, time travel and hilarious characters to lampoon popular murder mysteries.

Additional one-act plays are Thomas Wolfe’s drama “The Return of Buck Gavin,” a moving story about loss of innocence, family and life set in the mountains of North Carolina in the early 1900’s; Anton Chekhov’s classic farce “The Proposal;” and A.R. Gurney’s satirical play, “The Problem.” The short plays contain mature themes and strong language-not recommended for children.

The one-act plays are directed by USD students Fred Liebfried of Anson, Maine; Allen Jones of Miller, S.D.; Jaehoon Kim of Seoul, South Korea; and Callie Hisek of Ames, Iowa.

Tickets, $6 for the general public and $3 for USD students with a valid ID, can be reserved by calling the University Theatre box office at (605) 677-5400 beginning Monday, Nov. 7 or by going online at www.usd.edu/theatre.
