USD to host 48th annual Student History Conference on April 16
VERMILLION, S.D. -- Graduate and undergraduate students from several regional colleges and universities will make presentations at the 48th annual Student History Conference, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, at the University of South Dakota Muenster University Center.
Professor Robert Carriker of Gonzaga University, national president of Phi Alpha Theta, will attend the conference and deliver the lecture, “Subs & Shells, Bombs & Balloons: Japanese Attacks on the Pacific Northwest in World War II.”
Sponsored by the USD Department of History and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in history, the conference is free and open to the public.
