USD to Host 50th Annual Student History Conference on April 21
VERMILLION, S.D. – Undergraduate and graduate students from around the region will converge at the University of South Dakota on April 21 for the 50th Annual Student History Conference.
Students will present their original papers on a wide variety of topics. This year event also will feature a roundtable in celebration of Earth Week.
Jack Tunstall, executive director of Phi Alpha Theta will deliver the plenary address on the 100th anniversary of World War I.
Sponsored by the USD Department of History and the Zeta Mu Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the national honor society in history, the conference will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Muenster University Center.
